THIS PANDEMIC LIFE
MAY 31 – JUNE 14
Our everyday lives have changed, with a return to ‘normal’ hard to imagine. When dealing with heightened anxiety and uncertainty, our stress levels rise. In these times, it is important for us to seek God and wisdom in the Bible. Using the Book of James, we will look at what the Bible tells us about how to graciously walk through hardships and challenges.
Last week, Governor Northam began the process of reopening parts of Virginia, while extending them for Northern Virginia until May 29. The care and safety of our church and surrounding community is our most important value. Restoration Reston is not planning to open the church for in-person worship in the near future. We intend to comply with guidance from the CDC, Virginia, Fairfax County and our Virginia United Methodist Conference with each step we take. As Restoration Reston’s staff and lay leadership begin to discuss the next steps, we want to hear from you about your concerns and understand what you are thinking, when the time does come to begin resuming in-person activities. Click here to answer a brief, anonymous survey. Thank you for your participation, we value your input.
