Upcoming Events
Leadership Mission International (LMI) is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that provides educational and leadership development programs to young women in Honduras called The Leadership Center (TLC). Students attend a two-year program, immersed in English, taking classes in community development, business, and entrepreneurial skills. After graduating, they become ethical leaders influencing positive change throughout their communities and country.
A Floris UMC/Restoration team is visiting the campus for a week at the end of January. Fifty students and 15 staff members live on 75 acres of rural land. They are a 90-minute drive to major shopping areas and have no mail delivery services. Therefore, we would like to bring them much-needed supplies.
