Scripture: Mark 15:33-41, The cross is God’s answer to
our problems. But what is the power of the cross? What is its
meaning? In what ways does Jesus’ death on the cross have an impact
on our personal world and the mess that we experience, and how does
it address the world at large and the problems humanity has created
there? When through his death, Christ has offered us the hope that
there is more to life than the problems we experience. This sermon
will discuss the meaning of the words “Savior” and “Lord” and will
call people to renew their faith or accept Christ in these
ways.
