Have you ever faced a challenge in your life you felt was not getting any better but kept just getting worse? Things aren't going your way and yes, when it rains, it pours. Obstacles in front of you feel too big and you, too small?
If so, join us this Sunday as we look at an important story in the Bible from the book of Judges. Maybe, just maybe, the things we see and esteem are not those God does. Maybe.
Habitat for Humanity Book Drive
Bring books to donate this Sunday! We will be collecting books at our Sunday Worship service to donate to the ReStore to support a book drive that will raise funds for affordable housing projects. Tax receipt provided. Cleaning your bookshelves ahead of the new school year? This is a great way to put them to good use!
The Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta
The SS Restoration will return to Lake Anne at the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta! With our fearless captain Jeff at the helm again, we hope to show the community what we're about! Please join us at our tent from 1-3 PM to hang out, hand out swag, and cheer on our boat as we participate in the race!
Backpack Collection for Terraset Elementary
We're partnering again with Terraset Elementary School to provide 100 backpacks for students in need - and we'd love your help! The backpacks do not need to have any supplies in them; another organization is donating the supplies.
Please bring backpacks to the Sunday worship service on August 9. If that doesn't work for you, just contact Nikki or Katie and we'll be happy to arrange another time to collect them.
