Advent 4 - Dec 21 - Compassion - Luke 1:57-80

As the days literally get darker, many people feel the emotional darkness too: stress, grief, loneliness, or just the feeling of being worn out. In the Christmas story, a man who has been silent for months suddenly finds his voice again. And the first thing he talks about is the “tender mercy” of God; a light breaking through the shadows. This message is for anyone longing for gentleness in a harsh world. Advent tells us that compassion is not weakness; it’s God’s way of leaning toward us, especially when we feel lost or tired.
