Alive: A Sermon Trilogy
What if resurrection isn’t just something that happened to Jesus—but something happening in us right now? In a world that feels exhausted, divided, and running on empty, the risen Christ is still breathing life into people and calling us into something more. This spring, we journey through three movements of resurrection life: Breathe, Thrive, Restore. We begin at the empty tomb, where Jesus meets fearful disciples and breathes new life into them (Gospel of John 20:22). From there, we discover how resurrection life grows and flourishes through trust, generosity, and purpose in the story of Joseph. And finally, we step into God’s mission of renewing the world, living between the garden of Genesis and the river of life in Revelation. Because Christ is alive, we are made alive with him—and when we are truly alive, we begin to breathe deeply, thrive abundantly, and restore the world. Original music by Tom Morris!
